Beyoncé’s Dad Says his Daughter never talks about Money

Even though reports say Beyoncé has become a billionaire, her father, Mathew Knowles, says money has never been what drives her.

Beyoncé is said to have finished 2025 on Forbes’ billionaire list, but Knowles explained that her main focus has always been doing her best work and making her fans happy, not earning money. He said she has never talked about money, but instead about how to improve and connect with her audience.

According to Knowles, the money came as a result of her success, not because she was chasing wealth. He said that has never been her goal, and that is something he truly admires about her.

Beyoncé’s rise to billionaire status has been linked to the huge success of her Renaissance World Tour and Cowboy Carter concerts, as well as her growing businesses, including SirDavis whisky and Cécred haircare.

She now joins a small group of musicians who are billionaires, including Bruce Springsteen, Rihanna, Taylor Swift, and her husband, Jay-Z.

Knowles said he congratulated his daughter but stressed that her wealth does not define who she is. He added that Beyoncé remains focused on her craft, her fans, and giving back to the community.

Meanwhile, Knowles has started a new live show called Destiny’s Child: Iconic Reimagined Tribute, which celebrates the famous girl group. The performance features musicians and violinists playing songs like Bootylicious, Survivor, and Independent Women, while Knowles shares personal stories. He said there are plans to take the show around the world and expand it to honour other major artists as well.
