Ex Escort Alleges Lawyers took Advantage of his ACassie Accusations against Diddy
Former escort Clayton Howard is continuing his sex trafficking lawsuit involving Cassie Ventura and Sean “Diddy” Combs, insisting that Cassie was not just a victim but an active participant in the alleged crimes.
According to a report by AllHipHop, Howard has filed new documents in Manhattan federal court, accusing federal prosecutors of using his allegations to arrest Diddy, while denying him his rights as a victim and shielding Cassie Ventura from scrutiny. He claims prosecutors ignored his repeated attempts to present evidence of her alleged involvement.
Howard’s filing specifically criticizes former Assistant U.S. Attorney Maurene Comey, daughter of ex-FBI director James Comey, alleging she dismissed his claims and refused to let him testify. He says Comey told him he was “too traumatized” to speak in court — a claim he strongly disputes.
Howard also alleges prosecutors only relied on his testimony to secure charges against Combs for transporting prostitutes across state lines, but then sidelined him once that goal was achieved. He says he was denied protections under the Crime Victims’ Rights Act and that his allegations against Ventura were deliberately silenced.
“I wanted to tell the truth about both offenders,” Howard reportedly said, adding that the government used him when it benefited their case and then ignored him. He says he is only seeking fairness, dignity, and equal treatment as a victim.
The former sex worker claims he sent multiple unanswered letters to prosecutors and received no follow-up from a victim-witness advocate. Although Assistant U.S. Attorney Emily Johnson eventually responded, Howard says she rejected his victim status.
Howard later discovered that he was listed as a victim in the government’s sentencing memo. He then attempted to qualify for compensation through the Backpage Remission Program, which provides funds to trafficking victims, but says he was again blocked from receiving assistance.
Meanwhile, Howard’s lawsuit against Cassie Ventura is still moving forward after a judge approved alternative service, and Ventura has since hired legal representation.
